Trastevere

Modern Roman streets are a crazy mix of cars, scooters, taxis, buses, and trams. Yet it all seems to work, and with a lot less honking and chaos than I remember from my last trip many years ago. The Trastevere area is way off the path of most tourists, but was our destination for breakfast pastries.
