Ambulance Boat

Without roads on the Venetian islands, there is no way to bring an ambulance to an emergency call. So, like everything else, the ambulances are on boats that traverse the canals. There is a transfer point near the bus station where patients are moved from the boat onto a standard van ambulance for transport to a mainland hospital.
